A new batch of peppers which Ive dropped in the pepper folder arent showing up as options to install.
One particularly is an upgrade so I uninstalled it, uploaded the new folder and now I cant install it.
Any ideas?

Visit yourdomain.com/mint/?preferences&errors and try to install.
Also, knowing which Pepper you are trying to install would be helpful.
It was Trends.
Ive uninstalled all Peppers except Default and Backup/Restore and Im getting the following error. Still no Trends as an option to install.
I even re-uploaded Pepper and restored the Mint1 backup to test.

It looks like Mint is choking on those Pepper’s response to a compatibility check. Have you contacted the Pepper’s developers/checked the Development Forum to see if anyone else is having a similar error?
You can get a Mint 2.0 version of trends at http://cavemonkey50.com/code/trends
Im using the Mint 2 version of trends, that’s the one which isnt showing up.
The comments one is also newly mint2 compatible but also wont show up.
I looked over the code at question and I can’t see any problems. A couple of people have reported to me that certain files in my archives have been set at the wrong permissions. Can you see what the permissions of the class.php files are? They should be set at 755.
I also have experiencing this same problem. I successfully installed User Agent 007, however Real Estate does not show up in the preferences panel. I also tried to install Secret Crush, but same results.
I tried changing the permissions of the class.php files, but that did not work. Unless I’m changing the wrong class.php files -? The permission for each of them was 644.
