PunBB is very similar to this forum software. The original Mint forum was running on it before Mint 2 was released, and I think that Shaun based this forum slightly on the general idea of PunBB (Am I wrong to make that assumption?). The only other script I can think of would be Lussumo’s Vanilla, it’s a light-weight forum as well, very simple and easy to use. Hope this helps.
I don’t know if it is reported to Opera software as a bug report but the styles look mangled on my favourite browser. Will do that some time.
Among free and open source software, phpBB tops my list. Fairly good product, huge MOD database, and pretty good support.

vanilla would be my choice for a full-featured, light-weight forum…
however, i’m currently addicted to Drupal as we required tight integration with the remainder of our site and it includes a very simple forum… in addition, an extensive mod community which fill in the gaps.
don’t forget… a lot of it is about presentation and architecture which Shaun is king at… with enough work, you can nerf a bloated forum package into nearly nothing… but by the time you get done, might as well wrote your own with Django or CakePHP..

I been a PHPBB user for a while and I have been thinking about switching! The good thing about PHPBB is the quick response time when you post something for support! However the way this forum is presented is SUPERB!
Well done! I’m going to look into Vanilla! If it has to offer the same as PHPBB (or a little more) I’ll switch!
