Agent 007 and flash detection

I saw something that I didn’t understand.

Just installed Agent 007 Pepper and hit the site to register a single hit.

It detects my browser, platform, and screen resolution just fine. But under flash, this single hit shows

67% None 33% Flash 9

??? I double checked and only a single page load — mine — was registered. Why is it giving results like this?

I guess it aint that important for me, as this client’s site doesn’t use flash, at least not currently. Just didn’t know how to interpret what I was seeing.

Had your Mint recorded any hits (say 2?) prior to installing UA007? Those prior hits wouldn’t have any Flash version associated with them resulting in the 67% None.

I think that’s exactly it. Thanks.

If you have installed Agent 007 from only some times and you want to reset the “Flash” statistics you can do:

update mint_visit set flash_version = -1 WHERE flash_version = 0

So you will see -1 like the version number of the past users and None for the new users that don’t have flash.

That was usefull for me
