Data loss: visits, feeds, attention span

This is a weird one. After disabling all panes but three, my Visits pane was gone (not in the disabled or enabled list).

I solved that restoring a configuration-only backup I had done about a month ago.

The problem is that the Visits, Feeds and Attention Span panes now show zero. To be exact, I think they show for the last day only.

The rest of the panes are ok. Any ideas what to try?

I could also go back to yesterday’s MySQL backup if needed.

I would try the previous day’s backup. Restoring from a config backup shouldn’t affect any of Mint’s data. How many rows do you see when you visit /mint/?visits?

I see a lot of rows (all of them it seems) and some of them are in red.

Ok, sometime during this I also changed my local time, and all the timestamps were changed to 23:00. Changing them to 0:00 solved the problem except for the Past Year section. Any tips?

Best advice I can offer without actually seeing what you’re seeing is to read the instructions on that page carefully and follow its suggestions. If the past year’s data is not there, it’s not there.

The past year data is there, but all the rows are highlighted in red, despite changing the timestamp from 23:00 to 00:00.

Nevermind, I restored from backup. I can live with a blank day in my stats! :)
