It would be great to see a graph of how many comments are posted per hour, day…etc
And it would also be interesting to see how many comments are posted on each post (ala a trends type view.

The tricky thing with a Pepper like this would be customising it for the many different blogging platforms.
Comments pepper already does some of this, so it should be able to grab date info from the dcdate field (or equivalent) of the RSS and use that for estimation. However, the period over which the stats could be sampled would only be as good as the number of posts kept in the feed, and this varies from site to site, unless it kept its own table in the database.
