Tracking File Types?

I have an image site and a video site. Can Mint or a certain pepper track file types?

The image site mainly uses jpg / jpeg, but the video site allows a wide variety of video formats including: wmv,avi,mpg,mpeg,mpe,mov,asf,mp4,asx,mp3,m4v,flv,swf

So is what I am wanting, is that if another site links directly to one of my images or videos that I will also be able to track which site is doing this?

Would the Download Counter Pepper or the Downloads Pepper be able to track these file types or do they not count as “downloads”? On the video and image site they are all displayed within the browser (images) and streamed within the browser (videos).

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I run into this same problem. Where is the pepper to track embedded files like quicktime, flash, and the like that are not linked to, but in the webpage?

mid-way, you can track those file by using “Method 3”.

mid-way, and additionally using the &force parameter.

I will have to go to some sort of log analysis for this if I can’t get it to work with Lightbox on Mint (no joy so far - I want to track swf files..)

Any ideas?

Thanks, John
