Does it make any difference what database to use?

Posted on Aug 16, '08 at 04:13 am

I just bought a license and are about to install Mint. Now I am wondering if it makes any difference database i use for mint. I mean, does it make any sense to create a new database just for mint?

Or should I just enter the details of my main database that i use for the website?

The thing is this: The site mint will be on is about to get a major upgrade. New site will start from scratch with a new database. So i wonder if I should put mint on the old database, create a new one just for mint, or wait until the new site is up and use that new database? Or, maybe it doesnt make any difference?

hope Im making sense :) Thanks for any advice.

Makes no difference at all. Each to their own. :)
