How do Xcache and Mint work together in the long run?

I have mint installed and xcache now. Would that create any issues?

Mint will probably not work with any sort of server-side caching enabled (for what I think should be obvious reasons).

Hmm… what if we don’t cache anything in the Mint folder? If we let all Mint PHP files and DB requests operate normally then having XCache or Memcached on the rest of the site shouldn’t make a difference, unless I’m missing something here.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

If you can disable it for a specific directory you should be fine. I don’t really know anything about XCache or Memcached but the original posted didn’t say anything about disabling it for the Mint directory.
