Hey people,

I would like to track when people hit my 404 page where they’re coming from… Is that possible in Mint somehow?

Create a custom page that your 404’s are directed to and build in your normal Mint code. You’ll have to adjust your htaccess file to point to where your 404s should go. Do a Google search, it is pretty easy to setup.

That’s not the problem, the problem is, doing an “ErrorDocument 404 /errordocs/404.html, it shows that page on the current URL, which is not existent, and thus giving a 404, and i want it to: A track which page 404’s B see what page or website referred to that URL so i can fix it there

Now those two things I don’t know how to track with Mint.

The Error Tracker pepper works well for me. xhtmled.com/archives/2005/09/error_tracker_pepper

It’s latest update was for Mint 1.2, but it seems to work ok on Mint 2.04 for me.

I can see the info you are looking for in the Crushes Pepper. Of course it isn’t separated out by itself, but it does show the info you are looking for.
