It would require a rewrite rule, and some sort of gateway script. That’s an interesting idea. I’ll see if I can cook something up.

one of my mates just bought mint and he runs an extremely huge online community and he has some big-mother of some pictures… i mean…. BIG! and this extention would really go in handy with it! and i think something like this would make me purchase mint and slap it on me server… but just gotta wait for crazy egg subscription to expire… lol..

im interested in this too… having a server hosted from home means bandwidth is tight enough without people causing un-nessesary load.
invest in unlimited everything…. may be the little bit extra, but it will defiantly save you in the long run…
but also depends if you can get it where you are and the speed you need at unlimited up/download.
