"install" not visible in prefs for new peppers

the Mint 2.0 update looks great……one small issue. I’m not getting an install link in the prefs after installing new peppers.

Are you uploading the Pepper to the correct directory?

for example:

I’ve tried both the new 2.0 peppers you released today and some 3rd party ones….

Another thing to note is the column underneath Pepper is blank in my Preferences

Old peppers show up under ‘Pane Order’ without issue.

I have installed, Visits, Referrers, Pages, Searches, Geo Mint, Fresh View, Trends Internal, Trends External, XXX Strong Mint, and Locations…

Try adding &errors to your Preferences url.

I had the same error. I went through the update instructions again and it solved the issue for me. It seems something didn’t upload 100% correctly.

i carefully went through the update instructions a few times… reuploaded fresh copies… but no dice.

Then I just removed mint entirely. Reupped a completely clean 2.0 and clean copies of the plugins and still no joy.

Then I removed all non-default plugins from the pepper folder, and refreshed. I was given uninstall options which I did. Then, finally I was able to see the pepper pane and then I was able to reinstall everything.

Didn’t return here in time to try the &errors for debugging… But everything works now.

Hey there! I have the same problem here! In my case it is a completely clean install after all, I just bought the thing today.

I just put the “useragent007” dir in /mint/pepper/shauninman/useragent007 but nothing shows up in the Preferences.

I’m out of clues!
